Job 5-12

“If thou wouldest seek unto God quickly, and make thy supplication to the Almighty; If thou wast pure and upright; surely now he would awake for thee, and make the habitation of thy righteousness prosperous.” Job 8:5-6

It is amazing how we so often equate prosperity with right living and times of trials as a sign of His displeasure. Lord, I truly am a blind man when it comes to seeing the reality of the things that I face. I can never know exactly why I may be facing a trial or temptation, but Lord, help me to know how I ought to behave myself during those times. Help me to bless Thee when things seem bleak.
