Zechariah 14-Malachi 3

“But it shall be one day which shall be known to the LORD, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light. And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be. And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one.” Zechariah 14:7-9

Lord, thank you that one day You shall rule here on the earth. Thank You for the truth of Thy word and Thy plan for Thy people, Israel and for all nations of the earth. Thank You that I may be counted among Thy children and help me always to dwell upon Thy goodness and mercy.

“Ye offer polluted bread upon mine altar; and ye say, Wherein have we polluted thee? In that ye say, The table of the LORD is contemptible. And if ye offer the blind for sacrifice, is it not evil? and if ye offer the lame and sick, is it not evil? offer it now unto thy governor; will he be pleased with thee, or accept thy person? saith the LORD of hosts.” Malachi 1:7-8

Lord, how often have I given Thee which is less than pleasing? How often have the sacrifices of my life been contemptible? Lord, I pray that You would forgive the trespass of Thy servant and help me to fill my heart with Thy word that I might not sin against Thee. My desire it to serve Thee but my flesh is continually against me. Help me to die to myself and let the Spirit have sway in my heart.
