Titus 1-3

 

“But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine: That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience.” Titus 2:1-2

 

Dear God, I pray that you would help me to speak the things that become sound doctrine. Dear God, as we learned this week, though we must be careful not to be too harsh, we must also be careful not to be too soft. Lord, I believe that I have become too soft and have not been willing to speak the outright truth for fear of hurting or offending. Help me to speak the truth in love and follow after the truth of Thy word.
