Bible Reading 2100107

Numbers 36-Deuteronomy 5

“Then ye answered and said unto me, We have sinned against the LORD, we will go up and fight, according to all that the LORD our God commanded us. And when ye had girded on every man his weapons of war, ye were ready to go up into the hill. And the LORD said unto me, Say unto them. Go not up, neither fight; for I am not among you; lest ye be smitten before your enemies. So I spake unto you; and ye would not hear, but rebelled against the commandment of the LORD, and went presumptuously up into the hill. And the Amorites, which dwelt in that mountain, came out against you, and chased you, as bees do, and destroyed you in Seir, even unto Hormah.” Deuteronomy 1:41-44

Lord, I have sinned against You and disobeyed Thy commandments so many times over that it is impossible for me to number. It is amazing that You have suffered me this long. Lord, I thank You for Your mercy and grace that is supplied every day. Lord, I pray that You would be with me and that I would not be as the children of Israel that sinned against Thee and only when they realized what they had done and the judgment that had been passed, went up against the Amorites and were smitten because You were not among them. I pray that You would forgive me of my sins and help me to be like Caleb and Joshua, because they wholly followed Thee
