Bible Reading: 2100115

Deuteronomy 26-30

“And the LORD brought us forth out of Egypt with a mighty hand, and with an outstretched arm, and with great terribleness, and with signs, and with wonders: And he hath brought us into this place, and hath given us this land, even a land that floweth with milk and honey.” Deuteronomy 26:8-9

Lord, though this passage was written for Your people, Israel; truly You lead me with the same mighty hand. Lord, I pray that You would forgive the trespass of Thy servant. For too long I have paid attention to what men think of me. It is a bond that has held me for so long and continues to hold me even now. I pray that You would break that bond in my life that I may live to serve Thee only. Lord, You have brought be out of the bondage of sin and has brought me to a place where I can live victorious through Thy Spirit, help me now to accept that victory and to stop living in my own strength because I am failing miserably.
