Joshua 1-5
“Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper withersoever thou goest. This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” Joshua 1:7-8
Dear God, once again we find You giving the instructions to remain in Thy word. Lord, as Pastor spoke of last night, there must be effort involved in order for us to grow Spiritually. I have held back so many times from doing the simple things that I know I ought. Lord, I am fully capable of doing all things that You would have me to do through Your strength. I pray that today I would stand fast, that I would not lean on feelings but that I would stand for what the book commands. Help me not to be swayed, fill me with Thy Spirit that I may withstand in the evil day.
