Joshua 11-15
“Nevertheless my brethren that went up with me made the heart of the people melt: but I wholly followed the LORD my God.” Joshua 14:8
Lord, there are few people in scripture that I admire like Joshua and Caleb. They were God fearing, uncompromising men that would do anything to please You. Lord, I am anything but similar to them but I desire to be. Somewhere along the lines, the cares of the world crept into my life and I allowed myself to become captive to them. Lord, want to be someone who wholly follows Thee with all my heart, but I know in order to do so, I must be filled with Thy Holy Spirit and that I must resolve to follow Thee and to withstand evil. Lord, help me today as I am in the world, to not be of the world and to be a witness for Jesus Christ so that those around me may come to know Him.
